Warrior Inspirational Academy

The mission of the Prevention and Support Department is to provide support to students, parents, and schools which will strengthen the instructional process and provide for successful outcomes. P & S focuses on behavior, attendance, counseling, mental health, and academic recovery.

The Warrior Inspirational Academy serves as the alternative learning setting for Russell County Schools. 

Our desire for greater outcomes for students leads us to utilize several programs that aid our students' path to success, programs like the Warrior Inspirational Academy, the Warrior Virtual Academy, Peer Helpers, Rhithm, and Positive Behavior Intervention and Support. The P & S department supports students in credit recovery, college and career readiness, social and emotional learning, character education, and mental health. These efforts have one goal in mind; to help students find their path to success!
