Pursuant to Section 16-8-1(b) of The Alabama Code (1975), the Russell County Board of Education gives notice to the citizens of Russell County, Alabama

THE SCHOOL BOARD OF RUSSELL COUNTY, ALABAMA will hold a Public Budget Hearing during its Regular Board Meeting on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., for the purpose of receiving public input and considering approval of the School District’s proposed Preliminary and Tentative Budget and Millage Rate for the 2025-2026 fiscal year. 

This Regular Meeting will be held in the Boardroom at the Russell County High School located at 57 Warrior Way, Seale, AL 36875. The second and final Public Budget Hearing will be held September 9, 2025 at 6:00 pm. These meetings are open to the press and public.
