Hello, from Mrs. Corcoran. I am excited to be your child's media specialist. I have been in education for twenty-nine having taught in the classroom for about half of those years. I have been the media specialist at Ladonia for fourteen years.
I earned two B.S. degrees, one in Human Services and the other in Early Childhood Education from Troy State and Columbus State University, respectfully. I also have a Masters degree in Elementary Education from Troy State, and a Library Services certification from Auburn University. No more school for me! I am done, except for teaching our students at Ladonia Elementary.
I am married to Craig and we have two grown sons. We reside in Seale, Alabama. If you have any concerns or questions about reading, projects, locating resources, call me at the school, and I will be glad to help.

Student Check Out
K - 1st graders check out one book.
2nd- 6th graders check out two books.
Students with an overdue book, may not checkout another book.
Book(s) are checked out for two weeks.
Students may renew a book by bringing the book to the media center and having it re-scanned.
Lost or damaged books must be paid for at replacement cost.

OUR GOAL
The goal of the Ladonia Media Center is to help our students develop a life long love of reading, as well as become effective seekers and users of information through collaboration with the entire school community.
