Greetings! My name is Carrie Ann Miller. I am a resident of Smiths Station, AL. I am forty-three years old and live with my fur baby, Petey. My mother is my best friend, and I love doing CrossFit. I am beginning my seventeenth year in education this school year and my first year in a new school district. My first sixteen years as an educator were in the Phenix City School System. Fourteen fabulous years were spent at Westview Elementary School where I taught kindergarten for eleven years, fifth grade reading for one year, and was a K-5 Reading Interventionist and SmartLab facilitator for two years. Two wonderful years were at Phenix City Elementary School (PCES). During my first year at PCES, I was a K-2 Reading Specialist. In my second year at PCES, I was the 3-5 Reading Specialist. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education Collaborative, Master in Science in Elementary Education, Master in Science in Instructional Leadership and Administration, and Education Specialist in Teacher Leader from Troy University in Phenix City, AL. I am thrilled to join the Warrior Family and cannot wait to support you as we empower our students, foster family partnerships, and support our community!
