9th Grade Course Request Form

  • Attention 8th grade students:

Click here to register for 9th grade classes.

*Make sure you use your student email address to fill out this form.  These must be submitted to register you for classes.

We strongly suggest filling out this form with a parent/guardian. ALSO- take your time and check your responses before you submit.

Math, English and Social Studies: You must pick the general class or Honors. If you feel that your current teacher would recommend you for Honors, and you typically always have an A or B in that class, then select honors. An Honors class is going to be more rigorous. You must take Biology, there are no other options.

You must take Career prep B, because most 8th graders take part A at the middle school. If you DID NOT take Career Prep A at RCMS, you must select the full credit option. You also must take LIFE PE and Health. Everyone should select those. (Note: if you choose to take JROTC, you do not have to select PE.)

All of the other classes you can choose from fall under Career Tech. Only select the pathway that fits your interests. For instance, if I want to pursue nursing as a career,  choose Foundations of Health Science. If you enjoy cooking or baking and might decide to make a career of it,  you should take Culinary Arts.

Band students- choose the band you would like to be in.

If you have any questions, you may email Ms. Crews or Ms. Banks.
